3)Kristina Gulley, former Justice of the Peace for District 10, was prohibited from holding office following the revelation of past convictions for issuing hot checks in 1997 and 2003. Under Article 5, Section 9 of the Arkansas Constitution, individuals convicted of “infamous crimes” involving deceit or dishonesty are barred from running for public office.
