Dollar General celebrated the grand opening of its first Arkansas distribution center in North Little Rock, marking a major investment in Pulaski County. The new one-million-square-foot facility, a $160 million project, is expected to create around 300 jobs at full capacity.
The event brought together company leaders, employees, families, and local officials, including Arkansas Governor Sarah Sanders. “Fifty years after the first Dollar General opened in Arkansas, we are proud to welcome their first-ever distribution center in the Natural State,” Sanders said.
As part of the celebration, Dollar General donated $20,000 to the Arkansas Food Bank. The company’s North Little Rock facility will enhance its supply chain, including DG Fresh and DG Private Fleet operations.
