No Shave November

No Shave November!
Help raise awareness for The Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation.  1 in every 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime and prostate cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death among African-American men.  Funds raised by the foundation help with education and support.  No Shave November is a charity fundraising event celebrating colder weather and glorious beards. Each year, participants work to get donations for growing a beard throughout the month of November.  Come show off what you’ve grown at the Beard Olympics; Thursday 12/5 at the Blind Pig Bar and Grill starting at 6pm.  There will be contests and great prizes like a chance to win a Wahl Trimmer or gift cards from Party City, Batteries Plus, and Arkansas Flag and Banner.  No Shave November; made possible by Genentech.
Go by your local Iberia Bank to make a donation or click here (http://www.arprostatecancer.org/index.php/donate-now/donate)

Pick up your No Shave November “Ask me about my Beard” buttons at Party City on Rodney Parham and in NLR, Battery Plus on Bowman, Arkansas Flag and Banner downtown and of course The Blind Pig off Hwy 10.
